long story short...we came home a day early because my allergies were terrible...i couldn't even do anything and being constantly outside was almost unbearable.  so i ruined our last complete family vacation.  go me!!!!!!!!!!

tonight was fun, except for the planning part.  i left messages with a ton of people trying to figure out what to do, then eventually i get a tentative plan set up to hang out with some people from youth group.  the second i get off the phone doing that, tory (someone who i had left a message with earlier) called and asked if i wanted to hang out with her and steve.  grrrr.  i hate it when that happens; i always feel really bad.  i really wanted to but i couldn't because i'd already said i'd do something with church people. 

so i ended up going to bob evan's w/ shelly to harrass stopa.  that was pretty fun.  it was her first real day of work and we made it memorable.  then becky (i HATE having to drag my sister everywhere!!!!!!!!!), shelly, annie, kasey, nikki, mandy, josh, rudy and i all went to applebees which was fun.  it is so obvious that rudy and annie like each other, although i don't see that ever working. (rudy is a 24 year old leader w/ my youth group, and annie just turned 16).  after an entertaining time there ("you just threw chicken at me!!!!!!!!" kasey, becky and i went to walmart, where we ran into who else but tory and steve!!!!!!!!  that was one of the weirdest coincidences ever.  i don't think my school and church friends are meant to mix.  my school friends are crazy in a cool kind of way, my church friends are crazy in a stupid kind of way.  the thing is that i can go either way so i have fun with both, depending on what mood i'm in.  like tonight, kasey decided to try and sneak things into people's carts and watch them pay for them.  it didn't work out too well, but it was funny.  so then we tried to think of something else to do but couldn't, so i just ended up coming home.  it was a fun night though...i think i laughed harder than i have in a looooong time.  i love my youth group so much and it's awesome how close we've all gotten over the last few years.  i'm gonna miss them a lot next year...i sound really ditzy in this entry.  no wonder yale rejected me.

what sucks is that the person i wanted to hang out with most of all, david atlas (not my boyfriend, my friend from my trip to australia last summer) couldn't do anything of course, because his mom is evil.  so that made me sad.  i'm gonna go now because laura's online and we need to discuss our summer road trip plans.
