I never update this anymore. Maybe because I don't really like it and no one reads it. Oh well. I'll put this one for now.
Wow, it's been a big weekend. Since I should be cleaning my room right now, I think I'll do a quick or not-so-quick recap.
Saturday
Went to Mark's party for a little bit. None of my friends were there at the time so I didn't stay that long. Plus, I had to get home to get ready for my open house. Thanks to everyone who came!!!! I think it went pretty well. The treehouse seemed to provide entertainment for all. And the food was good, thanks to my mom's hard work. Entertaining people for four hours is more tiring than you'd expect though. By the time the party was over I was tired, so I headed off to Erin's grad party to chill. Ended up staying a lot later than I expected to, just sitting out talking to Steve which was nice. Got home at about 11:30? I think? Is it mean of me to be glad I haven't had to spend much time with my grandparents?
Sunday-THE BIG DAY!!!!
Woke up to Becky freaking out because for some reason she JUST realized she had exams this week? Now how long has she been in high school? Anyway, went to church where Josh, Kasey, Shelly, Dan, Annie and I went to Burger King for Sunday school. Sat through a long and boring service, then drove Shelly home, changed, and went to Tory's grad party. It was HOT. I stayed inside and watched "Arsenic and Old Lace" mostly, because it was so sweltering outside. And because AAOL is STILL SWEET. After Tory's I headed over to Justine's, which was slightly cooler since we sat in the basement. Lots of people were there too. Left around 4, changed at home, listened to the grandparents say "When I graduated, we didn't know what a party was...", then went back to Justine's to drive down to Schottenstein together. They wouldn't let us in, blablabla, sat in Steve's car, blablabla, stood in line forever, blablabla. Graduation was pretty good I guess. Last time we'll ever have to listen to a crazy Littell speech!!!!!!!!!! Mrs. Hopton stuck an incredibly sweet card she wrote me in my diploma!!!! It was so nice of her; reading it was the only time I almost teared up. I did throw my hat too. One of my life's goals is complete. I didn't throw it too high though because I didn't want to lose it. Wandered around after Commencement to hug parents and friends and take tons of pictures and things. Finally met up with Justine, whose family had left for some reason. Steve stripped on the way to the parking lot...no comment. Drove back to Justine's to change and eat more cake. Adam randomly showed up at the door to "pick me up" (since it was our date...haha) and we headed off to the luau. Not many people went, and I didn't bring a swimsuit, but it was still fun because I finally got to watch "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" with Adam and sometimes Steve. I must say that the highlight of the whole day was cuddling with the most huggable guy in the class of '05
. I didn't really want to go home at 1, but I didn't want to play frisbee either (the only alternative presented), so I just went home.
Today, I haven't really done anything except eat at Panera with my grandparents and buy my Cedar Point ticket. I hopefully will go see "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" with Shelly (and Kasey?) tonight. Until then, I guess I have to clean my room. If anyone wants to do anything, call me please!!!!!!!!!! It's weird because this is the first day I haven't seen any of my friends in what seems like forever. And I'm lonely. But Cedar/Senior/Theatre Point tomorrow is going to rock!!! (Omitting the fact that most roller coasters scare me.) Someone call please; save me from cleaning!
