if the burden seems too much to bear remember the end will justify the pain it took to get us there

So first things first, I would like to start this entry out by announcing that I am now officially no longer single. As if no one saw that one coming. But still, we're now "official" and everything. Yeah baby. I'm very happy, as if you can't already tell.
So here's how my weekend went:
Friday-I go to pick up Stopa for thrifting, and much to my surprise, it's a surprise party!!! Yep, Stopa, Shelly, and Deirdre, my lovely 'nets, threw a party for me!!! Alex (Deirdre's bf) was also there, and eventually we ended up picking up RB. They gave me Reeses, a lot of inside-jokey stuff, and Shelly made me an awesome scrapbook filled w/ all our memories and inside jokes and stuff. We just hung around eating, played that silly Mario game (I lost, of course) and just had fun. I felt loved, and really stupid for complaining about my lack of birthday festivities. This made up for it. Then eventually I left and drove RB home...got home later than I said I would...oops.
So then on Saturday I miraculously convinced my parents to let me go over to RB's house that night. So then we went to the Wilson Bridge bike trail...it was nice outside so it was fun. Except I hate biking w/ my mom and sister cuz they are slow as molasses and I feel the need for speed!!!!!! So my dad and I always have to barely pedal waiting for them to catch up. But it was still fun. Then Saturday night I went to RB's house...yay!!! We jumped on his trampoline (my "decision"...i'm such a 3rd grader) and then just sat on his couch watching (well...half-watching) "The Fast and the Furious." That's my new favorite thing to do...just sit on a comfy couch w/ a comfy person. So happy. But of course I had to leave too soon. :-(
So then Sunday I just went to church, then after church we had to stay after for some new members lunch thing. But Nikki was staying too...so was Jason. We had assigned seats and of course me, Becky, Nikki, and Jason were all shoved down at the farthest away end of the farthest table...heaven forbid teenagers ruin the experience of new members! Actually, I didn't care...I'm anti social. So the point of all this is that Jason and I had our first real conversation since we wrote each other hate letters. Which was good...I think. We didn't talk about anything real...just school and stuff. But I felt good about it because I've spent so much time beating myself up over the fact that I've barely talked to him since we broke up. He's still boring as heck though. But whatever. So then the lunch was winding down and Nikki, Becky and I were bored, so we went out to the parking lot. We were just hanging around out there and we randomly started playing "secret agents." Ya know, hiding behind cars and pretending to shoot at each other and stuff. Charlie's Angels style. We are sooo cool. But I don't care...it was fun, and not to mention freakin' hilarious. We amuse ourselves. Then we went home, and at 5 dad and I went to the meeting to find a new youth director...whatever. Nothing good is going to happen with that situation before I graduate. I don't really care anymore. Then I went to concert on the green, which sadly did not get rained out. Pooh. Doolittle gave me a lecture about not doing marching band. I knew it was coming eventually. So I got home, and RB called me and we FINALLY got "us" all official and everything. Stupid but necessary. I love my life.
