if the burden seems too much to bear remember the end will justify the pain it took to get us there

OH MY GOSH!!!!! We have the best senior shirt idea ever!!!! Actually, it wasn't my idea so I shouldn't take the credit. But EmB asked me, Erin, Tory, and the Masters if we wanted to be in her and Hayley's group today...their idea is the funniest, best thing ever!!! JCLMM....I cannot stop laughing about it!!! If you want to know what it stands for, ask me in private...I cannot disclose that information on here...but there's no way I could come up w/ anything better than that...it's hilarious. We're gonna be seniors!!!!!!! I can't wait.

So I got nominated for officer, as did pretty much ever single other junior. Stopa nominated me, and I couldn't think of anything funny to say, so I just said "I accept because I'm quitting band to do theater!" Explosion of cheers. Theater people love it when you quit other activities for theater. Grant was like "Yes! Way to stick it to Mr. K!" Then right before me Steve had said "I accept because I'm lame" and Matt wrote next to his name the word "lame." So then he just wrote next to my name "Band=Lame." Hehehe. It was fun. But what's up w/ sophomore's getting nominated? Never done that before...if any of them win I'm going to beat them with a crowbar. It's a senior thing yo. I really really really want to be an officer, or at least an alternate. I really think I would do a good job...it would be so fun. I just hope people vote for me!!!! Everyone vote for Carrie!!! Spread the word!! Shameless politicking...fun. CARRIE FOR OFFICER!!!!!!!

I had work last night and thankfully Kevin did not come in...creep. I have it again tonight but only till 9. Today feels like a Friday...argh. Becky and Mom are leaving for NYC tonight...yeah for having a car. I wish I was going w/ them of course...but I'm also glad I'm staying here ;-). Except I still have to do my P2P homework....boring. I should probably do that tonight.

I really really really want to go to Europe, on Ellwood's trip next summer. Almost all my friends are going. That would be the most perfect thing to do right after graduation. It's almost a whole month. I think Becky's going...I really want to. Except if Becky was there then I couldn't have as much fun as I wanted to...I'd be afraid she'd be reporting back on everything my friends and I did. The only thing keeping me from going is the money...it's like $5000. And I can't ask my parents to do that 2 summers in a row. I would definitely be willing to save up and pay for most of it myself, but then I would have nothing left for college. Everything is too expensive. I wish there was a way of knowing right now what scholarships I'll get and everything...that way I could feel better about spending $5000. But I'm going to ask my parents about it, although I know they'll say I need to save for college. It could be a graduation present though....hmmmm....a really big graduation present. I did want to do a theater camp or something next summer...but Europe...it just all sounds so perfect. I'll see I guess. I hate not having money.

Thinking about college lately. Stessful. But actually not as much as before. My top 2 are still Point Park and Marymount. But I know I will probably end up at Hofstra. But that's okay. It's only an hour from NYC, it's a BFA, it's far from home, I could get a film minor, and I know pretty much for sure that I will get in...since there are no auditions, and I think it's affordable. I could be happy there. So although PPU and Marymount would be ideal...I feel more secure knowing that I have a back-up place that I could actually deal with. Erin said something about getting our SAT scores online this weekend, but I don't think I want to. I have a feeling I didn't do too well...and considering I'm happy right now I think I'll just not ruin my happiness and wait to get them in the mail. Does anybody know if colleges care if you do really well on the ACT and then bomb the SAT? Cuz I think that's what I did. Oh well.

Well I should probably be writing a paper...but no, only 15 minutes left...too late.
