if the burden seems too much to bear remember the end will justify the pain it took to get us there
last week
Monday-worked 11-4, then did nothing except summer reading
Tuesday-same as Monday
Wednesday-went to see my senior pictures, which turned out well, but will be horribly expenseive. then i went to the Dr. for a physical which was boring and uneventful except that my mom thinks I'm anorexic because I've lost 12 pounds in 2 years. I can't help it that I was a major chunk when I was 15. It's not like I am even close to being skinny now so she can calm down!!!!!!!!
Thursday-CEDAR POINT!!!!!!!!!! It was sooo fun. David came, though Shelly, Nikki, and Casey all skipped out. But Annie brought some friends and that was cool. And Josh's friends were chaperones and they were cool too. We had multiple dance parties in the back of this huge van. So mostly it was Becky, David and me going around together, within our bigger group. We went on the Blue Streak first (played the fanny pack spotting game to entertain ourselves in the loooooooooong line.) It was fun, except I lost my watch!!!!!!!! Booohoooooo!!! I've had that watch forever. David and I went back to look for it while the rest of the group rode the Corkscrew, but it was nowhere to be found and that makes me sad. Darn whiplashy Blue Streak. Next we went on the Power Tower, which was incredibly terrifying for some reason even though I'd been on it before. But it was a huge rush once we got going. Then I think we went on the Gemini, Iron Dragon, and Wildcat, then got lunch: cheese fries and a chocolate malt. Gotta love amusement park food. Next we went rip cording!!!! Me, David, and Becky. I of course had to pull the cord. It was sooo fun though....it was my 3rd time, and I never get tired of it. After rip cording I was feeling invinsible, so I finally allowed myself to be convinced to go on the Magnum, the 3rd tallest roller coaster in the world I think. I was scared to death!!!! All the way up the first hill I was just staring at the bottom of the car, afraid to look and see how high we were. David was trying to make me feel better but I was at the point of tears I was so scared. But, as I knew it would be, once we got going it was awesome!!!!!!! I even went on it again. That was an accomplishment for me. After that we headed to the front of the park for food...and ended up getting......a Super Deluxe Funnel Cake Sundae, or something like that. David, Becky, and I shared this massive funnel cake piled w/ ice cream, fruit, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream, and who knows what else. It was good, but the messiest thing ever. We got it all over ourselves and the bench. It was so funny though, I wish I had had a camera. After that we left...so sad. Got back about 12, it was such a fun day.
Friday-did nothing.
Saturday-worked 11-4, stopped at Caribou to try a Reeses cooler, got hyped up on coffee, so I walked the dog and rode my bike for awhile. Nothing exciting.
Sunday-Another awesome day. Went to church, Josh gave a great lesson. The first time in years I've heard SILENCE in the youth room. It was quite inspirational. After church was the Secret Sponsor Reveal Lunch. Actually TALKED to Jason, which is quite an event in itself. Then my secret person gave me 10 monstor cookies!!!!!!!! To which my response was, "I am sooo rich!....if cookies were money." Nikki gave Becky and me a ride home, on which we sang along to "This Love" quite well I think. At 3 Mom drove me over to David's. He showed me how to burn CDs, so now I am not so confused. Then we watched "The Cat From Outer Space!" Yay! After pizza w/ his fam, we finished the movie then went to Life, his youth group, which was cool. Much better than ours, but also much cliquier. After youth we decided to go see "The Village" w/ some of his friends from youth group. I liked it, but it wasn't that scary and the ending sucked. So after that we were driving home w/ Andrew, one of his friends. A cool kid, as far as I can tell, if anything he suffers from a serious testosterone surplus. So they decided to take me on a little adventure, aka speeding down a twisty one lane street w/ a "jump" at the end. I could feel the testosterone pumping in overdrive, and see the headlines reading of our tragic deaths, but thankfully no one was hurt and we soon returned to David's house, then I got a ride home. Such a fun day!!! Yay!!!
This week my life consists of: work, planning senior night, Steve's party on Sunday, and hopefully some other social interactions. Come see me @ work on Saturday, I have 11 FREAKIN HOURS!!!!!!!! NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!! The end of my long and boring rant is now proclaimed.
