if the burden seems too much to bear remember the end will justify the pain it took to get us there

So, wanna hear a funny story? Glad you do, cause you have no choice. So, I was at work yesterday, from 5 to close, and at about 9ish, 2 of Jared (a manager)'s friends came in. Their names are Diego and Kevin( I think that's his name). They're like in their early 20s I think. Diego is really hot...but I'm getting off topic. So I had to do dining room, of course. I was mopping and I was talking to Kevin. I had really only talked to him once before, in the same situation, but he seems like a nice person. We ended up talking about theater and me wanting to be an actress and other stuff. He knew that Julliard was a good theater school and asked me if I wanted to go there. And he also somehow asked me if I had ever read "The Scarlett Letter" I told him I had to read it this summer and he said it was good. This impressed me because I wouldn't have guessed he was really smart. He works at Honda and he's going to Columbus State studying auto mechanics, so you can see why I would think that. But he surprised me. And then we also ended up talking about me becoming a motorcycle hobo if my acting career fails. And then Tammy came in (former manager, she works at Germain now) and we started talking about the concerts that were coming to Germain this summer. I said that I wanted to go to see DMB...then he asked me if I liked Linkin Park. I said I did and he said they were coming July 24 (I think). I said something like "cool...hey i bet one of my friends would want to see them with me." (talking about David cuz I think he likes them.) Then Diego was teasing Kara (other manager) about what kind of guys she liked or something. So Kevin asks me "what kind of guys do you like Carrie?" And I had just come up from the back so I didn't know what they were talking about. So I was like "what?" and Kara said "tell him you like guys that don't talk" (cuz they were teasing her cuz she likes Diego.) And Kevin goes, "you mean you like mimes?" "Hahaha" i say. And Kara says "Is that what that one guy is Carrie, a mime?" (about David.) Then Kevin says to me "You're dating a mime?" And I said something like "I'm not dating him and he's not a mime." Hardy har har. This probably makes no sense to anyone but me. So the point of all this is that I mopped and he talked to me. And then when I was about to leave, he says "Hey Carrie, if you want to go to that Linkin Park concert, I have an extra ticket." And I was like RED ALERT!!!! DID A 20 YEAR OLD JUST ASK ME OUT??????? end of story coming...bells about to ring.
