Prom
Oh my gosh. I am too tired to sleep...actually, I don't even feel tired...I'm insane. So here's how my prom experience was!!!!
11:15 met Erin to get nails done...it was cool...except neither of us had had them done before and the people there spoke mostly Chinese.
2:30 went to get a mother's day present...late planning.
3:00 started getting ready and still ended up rushed.
5:30 meet the parents and pictures w/ David and me.
6:00 went to Emily's house and did "pitchers" with Emily, Justin, Tory, Zach and us.
6:30 to Bravos, where we had to wait a little bit so we stood outside Zach's car w/ Tory's prom mix going. Then we ate...Tory, Emily, and I all ordered the same thing and finished about 1/3 of it...we sooo should've shared. David also drank about 5 mountain dews...sheesh.
8:15ish we left, but Justin messed up the directions so we didn't get to prom till like 9:30. But prom was freakin sweet. We danced the whole time. Yes, I danced. And I didn't feel like a total loser although I probably looked like one. But who gives a crap? I didn't. It was awesome, and everyone looked so pretty. When we were leaving this stoned homeless guy came up to Zach as he was getting in the car and asked him for a light. Zach was like, "no that's ok, I don't have one." and the homeless guy says "well you're just a really weird person man." and goes into a bar. Twas funny. Then Justin drives the WRONG way on a one-way street. Near death incident.
So then we went back to Emily's to change, then went to Afterhours, which was pretty fun though not as cool as prom.
Then at 4 we went back to Emily's house and chilled. Zach didn't come back, but Peter and Jessie ended up coming over so it was cool. We had the most tired-trippy conversations...and every now and then someone would bust out w/ the "Starlight Express" song...even though Jessie, David and I were the only ones who'd seen it. We wanted to get a tape recorder to record our convos. They decided to name David D-Bo. Hilarious. I didn't fall asleep but Jessie and Emily did, and maybe Tory. It was sweet. We finally left at 8, then I took David home, realized he had forgotten his stuff, turned around and came back, then went home for real. Which brings me to now...I should be asleep but I'm not. I'm hungry actually. My stomach growls a lot...hmm. Sleep deprivation. Well, overall it was probably the most fun I've had all year...I can't wait for next year. Well now I really must sleep so I can function tomorrow. Peace out y'alls.
